Ultimate Fighter 8 Odds: The Finale
J.D Driscoll - December 11th, 2008 .After 12 drama filled episodes The Ultimate Fighter 8: Team Nogueira vs. Team Mir concludes with its Finale at The Palms in Las Vegas, we have the current Ultimate Fighter 8 odds for you below.

Betting lines were released just hours earlier, three days before the event. As always if you’re looking for a solid MMA sportsbook to bet the TUF 8 finale we recommend going with Sportsbook.com.
It’s a incredibly even card with up to half a dozen pick-em fights to bet on this weekend. As usual it’s a mixed bag when it comes to excitement at these Finale shows. The undercard appears quite mediocre while the main card could surprise.
Both finals however (Lightweight & Light Heavyweight) look promising. Lightweight standout Phil Nover is the clear favorite (-355) to take out the 6 figure UFC contract against Vinicius Magalhaes. While At Light Heavyweight it’s a more evenly matched battle between Ryan Bader and Vinicius Magalhaes. The odds makers agree with Vinicius Magalhaes only a very small favourite at -130 with underdog Magalhaes listed at +100 (Bet 100 for a $100 profit).
Several established UFC contenders are also set-to take the stage including the explosive wrestler Anthony Johnson, Wilson Gouveia and long time middleweight contender “The Athlete” MacDonald.
There is definitely a lot of value left in the odds as they stand at the moment. Odds on the TUF Finales have fluctuated quite a bit in the past so I suggest looking in your bets sooner rather than later. Remember these lines are subject to change, visit the official Sportsbook.com website for the latest lines.

Best Bet: Wilson Gouveia is set to make a strong comeback at middleweight as he takes on “The Athlete” Jason MacDonald. The Canadian has had a up and down career at a very week middleweight division while Gouveia has had limited success at a very competitive Light Heavyweight division. Gouveia has performed better against tougher opposition. He holds victories over Seth Petruzelli, a close decision loss Keith Jardine and a impressive knockout win over Jason Lambert. He should have a lot more success middleweight, a division much better suited for his body type . Its do or die for the Brazilian take him at -135.
