Roma remain in the race for the Scudetto after their come from behind victory over Milan but they will need to be at their best to continue their charge tonight when they meet local rivals Lazio. Now six points behind Inter, Roma’s odds of winning the Scudetto had shortened over the week but only a victory will suffice tonight if they want to remain in contention. Roma are on a great run, winning 4 and drawing 1 of their last 5 matches. They are the form team in the Seria A. Lazio, now nine points above the relegation, only have pride to play for. However old rivalries and derbies are notorious for being extremely difficult to pick. League position even form often times can be trown out the window.

This is not like every other game, for Lazio with little to play for in the league, this is a chance to salvage some pride after a very disappointing season. Entry to Europe is unlikely for them.
